TERMS OF USE

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Kiln Digital Labs LLC, an Idaho limited liability company ("Kiln Digital Labs", "we", "us"), for your use of Blockfolk (the "game"). By downloading or playing the game you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the game. The game is intended for players aged 13 and older.

2. Your license

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and play the game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, under these terms and the rules of the app store you got it from.

3. What you may not do

• Copy, modify, sell, rent, or redistribute the game or its art, sounds, or code.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or try to get the source code, except where the law allows it.
• Cheat, hack, or interfere with the game, its ads, or its purchases (for example, using tools to remove ads or to fake ad views or purchases).
• Use the game in any way that breaks the law.

4. Ads

The game is free and shows ads, including optional videos you choose to watch. Ads come from third parties (Google AdMob); we are not responsible for the content of ads or the websites they link to. How ad information is handled is explained in our Privacy Policy.

5. Purchases: "Remove ads" and power-up packs

• "Remove ads" is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It removes banner ads and ads between rounds on the store account used to buy it. Optional videos stay available if you choose to watch them.
• Prices are shown by the app store in your currency before you confirm, and may include taxes.
• Purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their terms. Refunds are handled by the app store under its refund policy; we cannot issue refunds directly.
• If you reinstall the game or change devices, use Settings › Restore purchases with the same store account.
• Power-up packs (bombs, swaps and undos) are one-time purchases that are used up when you use them. They are stored only on your device, so they are lost if you delete the game or lose your device, and they cannot be restored or moved to another device. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged.

6. Your game data

Progress and settings are stored only on your device. If you delete the game or lose your device, that data is lost, and we cannot recover it. Your "Remove ads" purchase can be restored through your app store account; power-ups cannot.

7. Ownership

The game, including its name, shapes, art, sounds, and code, belongs to Kiln Digital Labs and is protected by copyright and other laws. These terms do not give you any ownership rights.

8. Changes and availability

We may update, change, or stop offering the game or any feature at any time, for example to fix problems or improve it. We may update these terms; if we make important changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and tell you in the game or the store listing. Continuing to play after changes means you accept them.

9. Disclaimer

The game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the game will be error-free or always available, or warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Kiln Digital Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the game. Our total liability for any claim about the game is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim (if you made no purchase, US $10). Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that cannot be changed by agreement, such as consumer protection laws where you live.

11. Ending these terms

You can stop using the game at any time by deleting it. If you break these terms, your license ends automatically.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Nez Perce County, Idaho, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

13. Apple App Store users

If you downloaded the game from the Apple App Store: these terms are between you and Kiln Digital Labs, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the game. If the game fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the game, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
